Movie Review: Sanam Re

 

SANAM RE (MY LOVE)

Like clouds, you have created a shade over me.

Like rains, you have drenched me in joys.

Like storms, you have blown away my senses.

Do you remember these lines? This is a song part of the world-famous Indian movie Sanam re. Sanam re is a Hindi word and it means my love in the English language. It was directed by Divya Khosla Kumar, and it was produced by Bhushan Kumar. The production company is T-Series Films. It was released on 21^st May 2017.

I am Githmi Kavindiya who is a student of the 23.1 foundation batch in NSBM. Also, I am a member of the literature club at my university.

The topic of this movie is that a man who only focused on his career and studies finds his real life and pure love. This is a romantic story but it has a sad ending. There are three main characters in this film. They are Pulkit Samrat, Yami Gautam and Urvashi Rautela . This movie is for youth and family audiences. This movie collected 1.4 million USD  on its first day at the box- office. So it was a  victory in the Bollywood industry. And this is the most famous Indian sad-ending romantic movie.

This story is about a beautiful love story between a pretty girl named Shruti and a handsome boy named Akash. They live in Tanakpur which is a  gorgeous snowy village in India. Akash and shruti fall in love when they were kids but not knowing what it was. He had to leave her without informing her to continue his studies and do a better job in Mumbai. After a few years, they met in Canada and Akash realize that she still love him so much. Akash is too. They will be loved forever but will not be able to live together. Like the story of the God Krishna and the goddess Radha. These three songs are in this movie. They are mithoon , jeet gannguli and amaal Mallik. These songs are sung by Arijit Singh and Raju Singh. Curiosity is the biggest thing to convey to people in this movie. And the major point it tries to tell us about true love. Also, this is appropriate for children. Because there is no violence, foul language, or any sexual activities.

This is a beautiful and very rare love story. So, people love this movie so much. The major strength of this movie is the story. It is a love triangle. And this movie is under the beauty and the beast category. It means love between a rude boy and a pretty innocent girl. This is a psychological fact of people. People like to hear about that kind of story. But in this movie Akash is not a rude boy, he is only focused on his studies and career. So he is a nard person. So he is a little bit cruel because of his lack of feelings. And the biggest weakness of this movie is that this story is like a Disney fairy tale. And the characters are like human anime. So it is too much beyond reality. The main idea of this movie is true love can do anything for a loved one. And the character of Akash is unbelievable. He has a pure soul and a golden heart.

And I also agree with the message of this movie. And the actors are doing a really good job for their characters. To improve the movie, directors can increase the curiosity of people. We can develop our creativity from this movie. It is a very emotional movie. it can make cry someone easily. It is a very interesting movie and I love it so much.
